Call for Papers: 13th Int'l Conf. on Central Asia & the Caucasus, November 2005, Tehran Articles / Posted by Admin on Jul 14, 2005 - 07:10 AM Recent developments in the post-soviet republics known as "Colorful Revolutions" have led to a variety of questions, among which three stand out: 1. What is the essence of these developments? 2. What is/are the cause(s) of these developments? 3. Will these developments be repeated in other republics? Answering the foregoing questions, differing viewpoints have been put to the fore, each of which appraises regional developments from a distinct perspective. In order to develop a better view of these opinions on regional developments, the Center for "Central Asia and the Caucasus Studies" will organize the 13th International Conference on Central Asia and the Caucasus entitled, "Regional Developments: Interaction and Encounter of Strategies" on Nov. 7th and 8th, 2005.
